Yearly tournament played between Amsterdam clubs. The name Gouden Kruis first occurs in 1905, but some reports suggest there might have been two earlier editions of the tournament, perhaps under a different name, that were both won by Volharding. The tournament was in 1959 replaced by a tournament for a regional cup organized by the KNVB.
